A Plan to Eliminate the Queen
In the next morning, the Physician had been warned by the Concubine that her plan will be executed on that day. Early In the morning, the Physician had concocted a powerful poison that can make people immediately killed if not to drink the antidote immediately. The poison will make blood come out from the nose of a person who drank it, followed by seizures and very pale face.
The Physician took a cup of tea as he held some of the poisons in his hand and put the poison into the tea. He did not forget to hold the antidote in the other hand.
Then the  Physician gave the tea to the Dayang of the Concubine and also the antidote of the poison.
The Dayang gave the tea to the Concubine.
“This is the tea, my lady,” said the Dayang as she put the tea on Concubine’s counter. “And this is the antidote of the poison,” said the Dayang again as she placed a brown pill beside the tea.
“Do not forget your job, Dayang,” said the Concubine. “If this succeed and I become a queen, then I will promote you to be the chief of dayang in this palace,” said the Concubine with her happy eyes and optimistic.
“Alright, my lady,” said the Dayang not less cunning with her master.
Then the Concubine confidently drank poisoned tea. The effect really remarkable. The Concubine immediately felt her heart very hurt as if being kicked and slashed. She felt her stomach very hurt. She sweated a lot. Bloods little by little came out from her nose. Pain that felt by the Concubine was a real pain.
“Damn you, Physician,” thought the Concubine, but she must do this in order to Raden Putra believe that she was poisoned by the Queen..
Raden Putra is a smart person, surely he could distinguish a people that affected  by a fake poison and a people that affected by a real poison.
“Help . . .!” yelled the Concubine from her room.
The Dayang who has been ready at outside the Concubine’s room, took quick steps and pretended that surprised to see the Concubine was dying.
“Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllpp . . .!” screamed the Concubine again.
“Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllpp . . .!”  This time the Concubine screamed louder.
The royal guards who heard the scream ran out to the Concubine’s room. One of the guards informed to Raden Putra.
“Blood that flowed out from her nose became worse,” said the Dayang. “call the Physician! Everyone get out now, give some air to the princess,” yelled the Dayang again.
As the others left the room, the Dayang quickly put the antidote into the Concubine’s mouth.
“That’s it,” thought the Dayang with happy feeling.
Then, the Physician and Raden Putra came together.
“Oh Adinda, what happened to you?” said the Raden worrying about the condition of the Concubine.
“Mmmahmm . . .” the Concubine nearly fainted and could not see clearly who was speaking to her.
Her face was so pale and blood that came out from her body was quite a lot.
Raden Putra was so worried and said to the Physician,” My Concubine is really suffering. Look, you have to find the cause!” yelled the Raden to the Physician.
“Alright, my lord,” said the Physician as he cackled.
“The plan was succeeded,” cheered the Physician in his mind.
The Concubine was really sly and cunning. She would bear the risk to take a real poison. But, what was done by her will make her dream come true, the Queen’s throne.
Until that afternoon, the Physician pretended busily investigating the cause of the Concubine’s illness. He pretended to take samples from the plants that he thought necessary . Raden Putra waited anxiously at the balairung (hall) of the palace, waited for the news from the Physician impatiently.
The Queen who heard about the news directly came to meet Raden Putra.
“What on earth was going on, Kakanda?” asked the Queen.
“Jeng Menik suddenly lay covered with blood, all of her body was seized’” said the Raden sadly.
“Oh . . . and what the Physician said?” asked the Queen.
“The Physician is still trying to find the source of her illness,  Dinda,” said Raden as he clasped his wife’s fingers.
“Oh, what a pity Jeng Menik. May I see her,  Kakanda?” asked the Queen.
The Physician forbade anyone to see her until he found the cause of the illness,” explained the Raden.
The Physician  came out from the Concubine’s room with his sad and suspicious face. Then he whispered to Raden Putra.
“My Lord, I have found the cause of the Concubine’s illness,” said the Physician carefully.
“Is it dangerous?” asked the Raden.
“It’s not a disease like my lord think, “ said the Physician in low voice, and then he paused for a moment as he pretended that he is thinking about something.
“Umm . . . actually the Concubine has been poisoned,” said the Physician confidently but pretended to be sad.
“What? Poisoned?” growled Raden Putra.
The Queen who stood near Raden also very surprised and could not understand why someone would want to poison the Concubine.
“Concubine was poisoned by forest jasmine,” said the Physician with low voice.
“What?” Now the Queen that was surprised.
“The forest jasmine only at the Queen’s room, so . . . “ said the Physician.
“What?” Are you accusing me for poisoning the Concubine?” asked the Queen as she wondered why it could be happened.
The Queen left the room, as she really got upset since she was accused for poisoning the Concubine of Raden Putra.
“What do you think, my lord?” asked the Physician.
“If it is true that the Queen has poisoned my concubine, I will punish her even though I love her. Justice must be done,” said Raden Putra with sad voice.
“Are you sure, Physician? Because i’m going to execute my Queen for her evil deed, but if you wrong, then you and your family will be executed,” said Raden angrily.
“I could not be wrong, my Lord. I have served you as a physician for decades,” said the Physician with full of confidence.
